In the Lyon region, exactly one year after a tragic bus accident that claimed the lives of five children and their village schoolteacher in Saint-Avène, a car crashes in the very same spot, into the same ravine. The driver, 55-year-old Amalia Rocher, killed instantly, turns out to be the sister of the bus driver whose body was never found, and also the wife of the town’s mayor, Louis Rocher. Gifted with exceptionally sharp sensory perception, Captain Téva Royer is sent to assist Commander Oriane Girard from the Lyon criminal police in investigating this very mysterious case.
