Love Is In The Air
30-year-old Yann Kerbec was born on a plane. Sadly, his mother died in childbirth. For this, Yann has the right to free unlimited air travel for life, but he never uses it. The trauma of his childbirth has caused him to develop an acute phobia of planes, yet his obsession with statistics about aeronautical accidents has made him a specialist in aeronautical security. In fact, he has become a civil aviation instructor specialized in flight simulations - often like torture tests - that evaluate the endurance and technical competence of commercial pilots. In his love life, Yann isn’t flying very high either. He is still paralyzed by the failure of a passionate romance that ended lamentably ten years earlier because he wouldn’t take an intercontinental flight to meet his sweetheart Charlotte in Australia. Since then, he has been hanging out with his childhood friend Ludo, a lazy perpetual adolescent who refuses to work with his father in the funeral business. They vegetate in front of the TV together, drinking beer and smoking joints. When a beautiful girl who works in radio named Alice becomes his new neighbor, Yann has a vague hope of change. But the mythical Charlotte suddenly reappears in his life, pushing Alice away. For good or bad, the fantasy doesn’t live up to reality: it doesn’t work out with Charlotte. Yann realizes he’s in love with Alice. But to get back together with her, he’ll have to take a plane.
