1985. Salomé Lerner, a concentration camp survivor, has just written her first book, "Partir, Revenir" (Leaving, Returning). She is the guest of Bernard Pivot on his literary television show, "Apostrophes" and speaks of her father's theory which led her to write the novel: "We have many lives, each improving on the last."
