Mâcon is a town in the Burgundy region of central-eastern France. The exhibitions of the Musée des Ursulines, a former 17th century convent, focus on art, archaeological excavations and local urban history. The Maison de Bois, a centuries-old house, has a wooden façade with unusual statues of monkeys and masked figures. St Peter's Church, dating from the 19th century, is a Romanesque church with two steeples.
